On June 25, 2009, SaveWCAL attorney Michael McNabb was interviewed for the KFAI-FM Evening News regarding the current status of SaveWCAL's Petition for Redress of Breach of Trust, which is before the Minnesota State Court of Appeals.

KFAI's web site introduced the segment:

If you think the legal maneuverings in the US Senate case between Al Franken and Norm Coleman are difficult to follow, an equally challenging, if not as high-profile, case has been working its way through the Minnesota court system since 2005. The latest volley in the battle between supporters of former St. Olaf College classical radio station, WCAL, and the college along with Minnesota Public Radio, will be launched in the Minnesota Court of Appeals this fall. Briefs were filed with the court last week and KFAI News Director Ahndi Fridell provides an update.

KFAI has a downloadable MP3 file of the interview available at:

Take a listen!

As with all media that cover our efforts, we appreciate KFAI's continuing interest in the WCAL story. Please let them know if you do, too.

The full broadcast of the Evening News is available on the KFAI web site archives.  KFAI Evening News broadcasts are also available as podcasts.

KFAI, one of Minnesota's Independent Radio Stations (and therefore a sister station to WCAL), is located in the Twin Cities and can be found at 90.3 FM in Minneapolis and 106.7 FM in Saint Paul.
