This afternoon, SaveWCAL attorney Michael McNabb filed SaveWCAL's Notice of Appeal and Statement of Case of Appellant with the Rice County District Court and the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Copies have been mailed to the attorneys for St. Olaf College at Gray Plant Mooty, Minnesota Public Radio at Faegre & Benson and the Minnesota Attorney General's office.
SaveWCAL's Brief must now be filed with the Court of Appeals within 30 days of the filing of the Notice of Appeal.
SaveWCAL's recent fundraising has been successful enough up to this point to give us the confidence to go ahead and file the Notice of Appeal.
