On the morning of Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 9:35 a.m., St. Olaf attorney Michael Cunningham, the lead St. Olaf attorney from Gray Plant Mooty, left a voicemail for SaveWCAL pro bono attorney Michael McNabb indicating that St. Olaf leadership is willing to meet to discuss improving the relationship with SaveWCAL and our supporters in the future—but is not interested in discussing the WCAL sale.

That same day, Phil Voxland '66 received a telephone call from Cunningham in what appears to be a "chilling" effort to preclude SaveWCAL supporters from doing independent research for relevant documents in the St. Olaf College library and archives.

SaveWCAL responded to St. Olaf with a letter to President David Anderson '74 on April 23, 2007.

Voxland responded to Cunningham on April 9, 2007.
